About Edmonton Sports Acupuncture

Meet Pamela Dennis, Registered Acupuncturist

Hi, my name is Pamela Dennis, and I've been a registered acupuncturist for 15 years. Throughout my career, I have practiced in multidisciplinary clinics and currently work with the Varsity Health Clinic at the University of Alberta, focusing on the treatment of varsity athletes. I completed a sports apprenticeship under Whitfield Reeves in 2013 and earned my certified sports medicine acupuncture designation in 2017. My practice is dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries and alleviate pain. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach and collaborate with other healthcare providers, including chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and osteopaths. Additionally, I have completed the Burrell Institute's visceral manipulation program and plan to pursue studies in functional medicine in the near future. Outside of work, I enjoy competing in Canadian Kell Club dog agility trials with my seven-year-old dog.
