Specialized Care for Sports Injuries

Hi, my name is Pamela Dennis. I've been a registered acupuncturist for 15 years and have practiced in multidisciplinary clinics throughout my career. Currently, I work with varsity athletes at the Varsity Health Clinic with the University of Alberta. My practice focuses solely on patients who are seeking to recover from sports injuries or are in need of pain relief. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach and collaborate with other providers including chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and osteopaths. I have completed a sports apprenticeship under Whitfield Reeves in 2013 and obtained my certified sports medicine acupuncture designation in 2017. In addition, I have completed the Burrell Institute's visceral manipulation program and plan to pursue further studies in functional medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy competing in Canadian Kennel Club dog agility trials with my seven-year-old furry companion.
